When I was formally employed at a human rights organization, I dreaded writing reports for funders. Trying to fit our activities within their outcome areas.

I primarily live and work in Toronto, Canada. This is the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples. I wish to express gratitude for the resources I use and honour all the First Nation, Métis, Inuit, and Indigenous peoples who have been living on and caring for these lands since time immemorial.
